When thinking, when walking, when feeling low, I always look up at the sky.

“I like to imagine there is something eternal in the sky, like stars in motion.”

Reading this before sleep, I thought of dust falling through dappled light, waves breaking against stone into countless blooms, the rustle of leaves close to the ear, the slow rise and fall of a cat’s breathing chest.

These repeated, ordered presences are like countless celestial bodies in the universe. Their arrangement may seem scattered, yet each follows some rhythm, radiating light in the dark.

To quietly observe these patterns, whether in outer nature or inner disposition, is to pass through something sacred.
